Olympic Trial Process for 2012

US Sailing just announced the Olympic trial process for all fleets. They will be taking the combined results from 2 regattas, Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta, in Weymouth/Portland, England, scheduled for June 5-11, 2011, and the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Sailing World Championship, in Perth, Australia, scheduled for December 3-18, 2011.

BBYC Annual regatta results

BBYC hosted their annual regatta this past weekend. 7 fulls, 3 radials and 3 4.7s raced 7 races in 12-18mph of breeze. Courses were outer trapezoids with either an extra windward leeward or once around the outer course.

39th Annual Jack Elfman Orange Coffee Pot Regatta results

Surf City hosted the 39th Annual Orange Coffee Pot regatta this past Saturday. 17 boats (1 4.7, 4 radials and 13 full rigs) raced 6 races in 12-20mph of breeze. Results will be posted soon at SCYC’s site but here are the top three fulls:

Sayville Yacht Club hosted the 2010 Laser, Radial and 4.7 ACCs this past weekend. It was windy both days offering some great surfing conditions and challenging conditions. 4 races were held in each fleet.
